    Tim Sale, è un americano disegnatore di fumetti, nato nel 1956, eterno collaboratore di Jeph Loeb.
    Entrò a far parte del mondo dei comics nel 1983 in Thieves' World proprio con Loeb, i due cantastorie finirono per continuare la loro collaborazione che fin da subito sembrò fruttuosa, dedicandosi soprattutto al mondo della DC Comics, scrivendo e disegnando in duo le storie oggi considerate i pilastri dell’Uomo Pipistrello, per citarne alcune:
    Batman: the long halloween;
    Batman: Haunted Knight;
    Batman: Dark Victory.
    Alla Marvel Comics, i due grandi artisti lavorarono a ciò che noi appassionati ricordiamo con grande ammirazione, per citarne alcune:
    Daredevil: Yellow;
    Spider-Man: Blue;
    Hulk: Grey.
    Quindi non si è limitato ad essere solo un grande disegnatore, ma ha realizzato opere artistiche senza tempo che molti (me compreso con Spider-Man Blue) consideriamo i vertici delle story arc dei personaggi a cui Sale, insieme a Loeb, si è dedicato.
