Adam Kubert nato nel 1959, è un noto fumettista americano cresciuto in una famiglia d’artisti: il padre Joe e il fratello Andy sono entrambri fumettisti infatti, tanto che Adam disegna il suo primo fumetto a 13 anni. La matita nel sangue.
I suoi lavori comprendono le maggiori case fumettistiche americane, lavora per la Marvel Comics, per la Dark Horse e anche per la DC Comics e oggi è anche un insegnante, come molti degli artisti famosi di oggi, in una scuola per disegnatori fondata dal padre Joe.

La sua carriera comincia proprio nella DC Comics, insieme al fratello Andy, collaborando su Adam Strange e su Batman VS Predator. Successivamente si avvicina agli avversari della Marvel Comics dove la sua carriera letteralmente eslpode su Wolverine scritto da Larry Hama, senza assolutamente dimenticare Weapon X, ma il mondo dei mutanti viene ancora sconquassato da Kubert con Onslaught: X-Men.
Gli ultimi lavori importanti per la Marvel sono relativi all’Universo ultimate, parliamo di Ultimate X-Men e Ultimate Fantastic Four, collaborando con calibri da 90 come Brian Michael Bendis e Mark Millar.
Tornato alla DC mette le mani sulle opere migliori degli ultimi anni come Ultimo Figlio, una saga di Superman scritta da Geoff Johns, e Crisi Finale.

La sua vita lavorativa prosegue ancora oscillando tra le due maggiori casi editrici fumettistiche.
